My Story

After high school I started at Fullerton College but a year later started working for Cal Fed Bank which I was at for 14 years and then the department that I managed was outsourced to EDS- Electronic Data Systems. I was there for 16 years and then I was laid off due to work force reduction.
Education- Some College
Work Career: 1)Banking (14 Years)- Manager of Remittance Processing Department, User Analyst, Supervisor in a branch and was a Manager of a Mall Office. 2) IT Company(16 Years) - My different roles: Office Manager for Check Processing Group, Project Support,Business Continuity, Audits, Safety and Managed the Client Help Desk Unit.

As for the weekend, I am working today, as usual. I have a huge project to finish today so I might have to work late today. Sucks, or I have to come in tomorrow. Double sucks. Oh well. My grandmother decided to stay with my uncle and aunt and my aunt got reported to the state so she is better, random inspections when she least expects it. Other than that, I have been super busy with work and school. How is the job search going? Any weekend plans?

My aunt who married into the family is abusing my grsndmother. Nothing I can do about it. Too far. If something happens to my grandmother because of this person I choose not to call "aunt" she is going to hell for it. I am not vengeful. Just what you give out will be what you get back, inten fold. Just found out something about my grandmother that I am not too happy with at all and there is nothing I can do. She lives too far away from me to do anything and it hurts so bad but I have to just watch. Just like you had to just watch your friend. Hurts a lot. Hopefully I can get through the weekend and try to think about other things.

It is difficult for everyone going through it. The people around the person always says why are you putting us through this, you are making it so hard. The hardest is the person actually going through it, they have it the hardest, they can't help it and they are out of control, but they will get help when they are ready to. I am glad your friend is ready to get the help they need. I am glad I was able to help. Hope you had a great weekend otherwise.

But as far as helping your friend, kick back. best advice is to kick back. When they want the help and need the help that bad, they know to ask. If they are not wanting the help and wanting to do it themselves, they are not ready to quit. No one will quit unless they are ready to quit. I've been on both sides of your story before. Hardest thing is to watch someone slowly kill themselves and not accept help. They have to want it that bad and be ready to be helped.

So I am having the best day today because I am not being selfish and being open to whatever comes my way today, good and bad. amazingly enough, I asked for peace today and I am having the most peaceful day ever, even with situations that come up. Amazing. For myself this weekend, I am going to really put an honest effort into doing something for school so I can do well in school. That is the best thing I can do for myself.

But I am still looking forward to the weekend to forget this week and start a new week. I learned something about myself, something I never thought I was but realized I am. Character trait that I never thought because I am so giving to everyone but I was made to realize one can be selfish without doing anything for yourself and always doing for others.
