My Story

I'd like to extend a huge hello and welcome to my MyCity profile. My name is Sharon Goldhammer and I've been in Southern California my whole life. I grew up in an "insurance family". We have a family owned and operated insurance agency right here in beautiful Warner Center in Woodland Hills, have been in business for over 35 years.

After I graduated college from the University of Judaism with a Business degree, I found myself selling life insurance with a different company. After one year, I realized that if I was going to be in the insurance industry, it would be mutually beneficial to join up with the family and come aboard with Goldhammer Insurance Services, Inc.

Walking into the office already licensed with my Life License as well as my Securities 6 and 63, all that was left was for me to pass my Property and Casualty test in order to obtain the final license necessary to offer almost all lines of insurance to our current clients and new customers.

Once I had all 4 licenses under my belt, I jumped right in to the business and have not looked back. During the past 2 years, I have had a pet project of establishing an internet presence, as clearly this is the way of today and the future.

We have an agency culture, not of strong arming one-time customers into a policy they do not need or understand, but of establishing rapport and being a source of education, information and advise to our clients and the community.
