| Review: | The namesake tells a bit about the bar--Rachel Urban was a turn-of-the-century madam who weighed 200 pounds, had a pegleg and carried a profanity-spewing parrot on her shoulder. True to its heritage, the atmosphere manages to feel a bit like an upscale miner's pub: It's fashioned out of worn, comfortable wood and rock masonry. A limited variety of food is available, but people seem to love the locally produced burritos that are microwaved for your pleasure. The bar is stocked with a great selection of bottled beer from 17 countries, as well as a decent selection of spirits. |
