| Title: | If airports were cool consider LAX Miles Davis' public Enemy no.1 |
| Review: | LAX offers a ton of flights and you can routinely find some good deals. The security process isn't that bad. The accommodations aren't the greatest beyond security and the facility itself is in need of renovation. Getting in or out of LAX any time after 6:00pm is a mess. If you take a cab or hop in a shared ride be ready for a significant wait and a tangle of traffic. Getting into LAX isn't that bad though (except holidays). I think part of the LAX experience comes from the fact that crazy LA people confront you beyond the confines of the plane. You are bombarded with the anti-logical mania that is LA and is usually a good stretch from atmospheres of other large airports (O'Hare, Minneapolis, Denver, etc). It is what it is. |
