| Review: | This is the first in Nobu Matsuhisa's Empire of trendy upscale and pricey sushi chain. The decor is not much to look at but the food is the star here, other than those you might be sitting near. Besides the usual raw/cold selections they due a masterful job with cooked or flash fried dishes as well. Be prepared to pay top dollar for your experience and it is generally worth it. I guess your paying in part to say you're eating the masters creations although better value can be had elsewhere. All in all worth a try. Don't miss the the sashimi wrapped in jalapeno and the shrimp in a cream sauce. |
