| Excellent restaurant featuring the cuisine of Gujarat, a state in India. Delightful vegetarian fare with dim sum-styled presentation, I think the proper indian nomenclature is 'thali.' one price gets you a selection of rice, poori, chapati, pappadum, 2 soups, and several veggie-rific entrees. The nicest thing is that they include the drink 'chaas' (watered down yogurt drink, delicious) in the meal. Drink all you want. dessert was included and I tried carrot halwa which was very delicious. Price is right, food comes out quickly. The service is very attentive. Also the ambiance is unlike that of any other traditional Indian restaurant I've been to. Beautiful inlaid stone tables, comfy upholstered tapestry chairs, and big bright windows everywhere. | |
