| This is a newly opened branch of Red Ribbon bakeshop, in the new Westfield Mall Culver City. I was excited to go, since the next nearest one is in Hollywood. But this location only carries maybe 1/3 of the varieties in the main store. the shelves were small, and i think they carried only French Sponge cake, mocha sponge cakes, Soft buns (with cheese topping), and pan de sol (milky, sweet bread). All of which i bought. The freshness factor is lacking, and i anticipated this, since the goods are shipped from the main bakery. Bummer. It was still decent, and i ended up reheating it in the oven, to get more crisp and "fresh out the oven" feel. you improvise right? they sell filipino food, which i've never tried. I recall loving their mango cake, but i might have missed it, since i didnt see it in the cakes compartment. | |
