Review Title: Harold and Belle's, Southern Cooking in L.A.
Reviewed By: Willie D. Price
I have gone to Harold & Belle's on many special occasions and sometimes, just because I have a taste for Creole food. The food is always enjoyable; I love the Jambalaya, gumbo, po-boys, etc. Anything I have tried, I have enjoyed. It's nice to go to a "Fine Dining" restaurant in the inner city. I can't remark about parking, because I've only used the valet service.

Review Title: Harold and Belle's, New Orleans West

The only place I know that you'll find cajun food that's as good as Harold and Belles is in New Orleans. The etouffe and catfish dishes are topnotch. The appetizers are a major part of the evening especially the Louisiana sausage. The servers are sensitive to give you the time you want to enjoy a fabulous meal. The price seems a bit high but seldom do you see people leave without a bag of leftover food to enjoy another day. Lunches are as outstanding as dinner.

Review Title: Harold and Belle's, Good Food, but Slow service and not worth the prices?
Reviewed By: Felicia
The food was very authentic but our server was slow. Service was pretty horendous. Food Recommendations: Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee, Spicy Sausage, Catfish, Clam Strips, po boys sandwiches. Stay away from the bread pudding though. Yuck.
But here is the Cons: the prices are really too high for the amount of food you receive, and for the location. it is not an area where you expect upscale dining, yet the prices are at upscale level. I love to eat and I have no problem with spending good money on good food. However, I do have a problem with not getting enough of what I order. And the parking is absolutely the WORST.
